Conduct comprehensive pre-construction and post-construction inspection of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) consisting of roadway projects, utility projects, drainage projects, water treatment plant and water distribution lines; wastewater treatment plants and collection system projects, and other facility projects to verify adherence to plans, specifications, and the Traffic Control Plan (TCP) by assessing on-site safety protocols. Oversee verification of daily project quantities to support the accurate processing of invoices for contractor payments. Participate in other ongoing construction project meetings to acquaint oneself with company corporate management system as applied to other Construction Management and Inspection (CM&I). Address and resolve project challenges, coordinate with crew supervisors, contractors, and owners, and conduct CM&I in accordance to the established guideline and criteria. Prepare daily progress reports. Participate in other company design projects to be familiar with the relationship between design and construction for projects such as, force main renewal and rehabilitation projects, water well rehabilitation projects, roadway reconstruction projects, water line distribution and transmission projects and local drainage projects.
